Pentecost

Sunday 9th June 2019

A special day for our Curate as she presided at the Eucharist for the first time. It was a big service as we also had a baptism, which I did.  It felt rather strange letting go of the rest of the service. We had a buffet lunch after the service too. 

After our confirmation class this afternoon I took a quick experimental shot of our paschal candle. The smoke when it is extinguished is amazing (better than this) and I want to get a better picture on my camera, this was a snap on the phone. 

Tiredness from the emotions of the weekend took over as soon as I got home and I haven't achieved anything this evening. I didn't have the energy for any other photos so this is simply my experimental snap.
