Castlerigg Stone Circle

Saturday 9th June 2018

Sadly the LPH week was over far too soon. It was a great week and a wonderful group. I can't believe we've had a whole week in the Lakes in shorts and t-shirt and haven't seen a drop of rain! It meant no real pictures of water cascades, challenging contrasts, occasional plain skies and no real reflections but I'm not complaining, other than that it has been fabulous! :-)

This morning it was sad to say goodbye to John and Debs and the other three guests SueT123, Stujphoto and Antionette (who we hope will join blip!)

I decided to make a quick stop at Castlerigg after I set off, just for blip. I was lucky to find it quite quiet and I was able to capture this without anyone standing near the stones. I arrived back home at lunch time but then I was straight back on duty with a taxing week ahead and a long time to the next break.
