Tilting Windward

You can see from my blip that I was struggling yesterday to get a decent photograph , taken in miserable weather on the morning dog walk. I just happened to notice that the bush leant in the same direction as the prevailing wind.

Yesterday was a real gathering of the clans as the children and grandchildren who were with us on Christmas Day met up with the Boxing Day group giving us a house full of 15 people at one stage. However, it was really nice that the family could meet up in this way as our family is fairly spread around ~London, Berlin, Edinburgh, York and Argyle. It was the three capital cities that were represented yesterday. I did insist that we got a group photo at one point but did not think this was an appropriate blip. The joy of large families !!
