The end of the race

Great day out today - though not all would agree!
Headed to Edinburgh with a friend and her friend to do a trail race from Rosslyn Chapel to Stewart Brewery. 
Registered at the brewery and taken by bus the 3 miles (at most) to the chapel and had to run back nearly 6.
We'd just started and the heavens opened making a very muddy route extremely muddy and increasing the size and depth of the puddles. The route had some old railway, a short section of rough pavement and mainly narrow paths in the woods. There were lots of undulations, many steps up and down and some history, though no time to stop and read the boards.
We ended up back at the brewery and had a free beer, and looking at the results I'm very pleased with my time. It was even possible to go inside the brewery and I got this blip - no pics on the run.
