Paul the hat

When organising a folk festival in fields, in England, in the summer, be sure to gphave someone like Paul the hat. He is the man who pulls cars, camper vans and the like out of the mud. He has been quite busy today but I think he will be fully occupied tomorrow.

My car did not get stuck today.

I’m at the Forgotten Lands folk festival at Stone Barns near Bewcastle. The volunteers worked hard this morning. See my extra for an example. The children’s games on the field look brilliant, but may turn out to be a mud bath.

The bands tonight have varied and I enjoyed some more than others. It was really cold by 1030 so I escaped to my B&B where it is comfy and warm.
