flowery friday

I put these flowers in the spare room when Sarah and Chris came to stay last weekend. They have a kind of faded beauty now which I tried to make look like an old painting.

Work today was a little quieter than usual - no tea dance this week. I shan't be at The Usual Place for a couple of weeks - a trip is planned...but I have a lot to do before we can go away. D has taken advantage of the nice weather to mow the grass and cut back the creeper. I have some seedlings to plant out and some weeding to do. This is just the time when everything suddenly grows like mad.

I also have an article to write, some photos to process and send and an AV to prepare.

But at least it's not my turn to cook the tea tomorrow :-)
