Voscars

This evening I was at Castle Douglas Town Hall as part of a team from The Usual Place - we had been shortlisted for two awards in the "Voscars"- the voluntary sector equivalent of the Oscars - at an event hosted by Dumfries and Galloway Third Sector.

We were very proud to win the award for Inclusion. Inclusion underpins everything we do at The Usual Place, as embodied in our core values -

-Everyone is of equal worth
-Everyone can contribute to the community
-Everyone should be treated with dignity and respect
