As always the NTS garden at Arduaine is beautiful even though the rhododendrons and azaleas are past their best. The extras show the different shades of blue in the meconopsis and iris flowers and also some candelabra primula.  Then after meeting friends who had sailed their yacht to Ardfern, we all went for a walk on the Craignish peninsula before the rain.   Among other flowers there were yellow irises adorning the shore with views across Luing towards Mull.
