Cygnet

A morning at home, adjusting to normal everyday life after my trip to Spain. Of course, 'normal everyday life' includes a walk with my camera, so this afternoon I went off to the river. In the couple of weeks or so since I was last there, everything has grown so much - it was much harder to get a clear view of wildlife! Not a hint of a kingfisher anywhere - but I did see dragonflies, damselflies, a reed bunting, heron, little egret, some weird kind of cricket-thing, bees, ducks, gulls, a squirrel..... and cygnets - irresistibly cute!
