K7 Steam Engine. York Railway Musuem

The amazing piping and engineering beneath the driver's cabin window of K7, the largest steam locomotive in York Railway Musuem. It was made by the British for a Chinese railway line that needed a colossal engine for a line with a particularly steep gradient. The locomotive was built in 1935 and given to the railway museum in 1977 after it had been decommissioned.
