Downriver from Low Force

Very enjoyable trip with Linskill Health Walkers to High Force and Low Force and a chance to catch with some good friends. Sky was mostly overcast , but there were only short patches of drizzly rain. The river and falls were in full force. A young lad who was accompanying our group said to me that the water looked like coca cola, and I replied that when you get to my age it looks like beer. I not sure where the wishful thinking was - though beautiful just as it is, multihued, iron tinted water, eddying, swirling and hurtling downriver.
