Vacation day 7 - Venice

What a difference a day makes.  We had fun taking the jumping pic in a busy Piazza San Marco.  This morning took a walk through the Rialto Market where we picked up some nice souvenirs and even did a little Christmas shopping! We also got to go inside St. Mark's Basilica. It's very different from other churches we've been to.  Very Byzantine.  The views from the roof were spectacular!

3 - Gondola docks and the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute across the canal
After a lot of walking we had a nice lunch in a sunlit courtyard before collecting our bags and catching our train to Florence.
