The chimes of Normandy

Evening all,

The current Mrs Richardson is in France at the moment, the Normandy region to be a little more precise.

She is helping do up a house that her friend owns, which is in a little village that felt the force of both occupation and liberation during the war.

The next door neighbour who has lived there all of her 90 + years recollects both of those events, me, I cannot comprehend what that must be like.
