Highlands on Islands

Working today on the island of Vallay which is a smallish tidal island off the coast of North Uist. Spent some time with the owner of this very successful herd of Highlanders farming on High Nature value ground and showing how this type of management can work for everyone.

The light is beautiful especially this evening but I had a very limited time to take photos. Finally back to the hotel at 11.30pm
