Lavender's blue, dilly dilly, lavender's green...

Lavandula angustifolia Munstead, to be precise - the first of J's beloved collection of lavenders to bloom this year. Made me think of dreamy summer's evenings - which is ironic as it's grey and chilly! Much easier to get good photos though, than the last few days of bright, high-contrast sunshine.

I was spoiled for choice, as this allium/delphinium combo in the extra was very appealing too.
