Tiny Tuesday : Reflecting on Farewell

A last full day with Aunty Laurie, and a short trip into Bristol. Janet always does everything at 110% and we did have to remind her mid-march that Laurie was still ninety, and would she like to slow down just a little? LOL. 

It's been a fun time having Laurie here, and tomorrow Janet will drive her back to London and stay over before returning on Thursday. But I won't be unoccupied, left all alone. I realised the other day that while there were a good thousand miles of rubber left on Morrigan's tyres, we were in fact planning a closer to two thousand mile motorcycle tour. 

It feels a waste to replace them only part worn, but then again they've done more than 6500 miles; quite a lot for such a powerful machine. If the weather is inclement (and we've had two very good years...), well.
