Snow Day

I got a surprise when I looked out the window this morning to a quite moderate (for here) fall of snow.
Everyone gets pretty excited. The media heads up from Sydney, not to mention sightseers. Of course it's usually all gone by the time they arrive.
However it did last most of the day with a few patches still remaining.

There was even a less common, respectable covering at Wentworth Falls, 17km east of Blackheath, much to the excitement of the grandchildren experiencing their first winter in the mountains.
