MonoMonday: Baked

The theme today is "baked". It sounds easy but short of whipping up a cake or such, not so simple.

This casserole pot was made for us by a friend as a wedding present. 
I don't know anything about pottery but I expect it was baked in a kiln.
We have been married 40 years this year and it would be one of my most frequently used items. A great gift.
