Family Christmas snap II

So, how many parents were actually waiting for their children to wake up this morning? My two decided today would be quite a nice day to sleep in, which would have been bliss if it wasn't Christmas Day and Mummy and Daddy were excited to see them!
When Olivia woke up she went and got her little brother out of bed, turned the light on and they ran into our room together very excited. They then clambered into our bed to commence the opening of stockings which was great fun. Once that was done it was time to venture into the living room to see if anything had been left there and low and behold Santa had done himself proud this year! Olivia couldn't believe that she had received surprises as well as the four things that she'd put on her Christmas list, such as earmuffs and cupcake lip gloss, bless her. Dex soon got into the ripping of paper which seemed to be the best bit for him for a little while!

In the afternoon we loaded the kids into the bike trailer and went out for a bike ride ending up at the playground so that they could run off some energy, before returning for our Christmas meal which was very tasty - thanks hubby!

I then took the customary family photo using the self timer on my camera.
