Cerinthe purpureum

Love Cerinthe and it’s about to come into flower- looking healthy and optimistic!
General feeling of optimism for the coming season: I removed the spent tulips and planted 5 Anchusa plants. A new one for me and described as a ‘short lived perennial ‘. It grows to 2 to 3 feet and has deep blue flowers.
Before that I tackled the huge nettles and comfrey weeds growing by the burn. Progress?
