Warmest Day

I heard Jack and his friends getting up really early and I think they left the house around 5am. They are heading to Dover to catch the ferry to France to stay in Helena’s chateau for the week. Penny had said that she would go for a run with me in the morning but when I went to her room she was still asleep so I went without her. It was a really lovely day - warm and sunny. Penny spent the day revising in the kitchen and Lily came over at 4pm so that they could go to the park for a little while. She came back with a stinking headache. Lorna and Susan came over at 6pm for a bbq. We sat in the garden all evening and they left around midnight.
