Play In A Day

Ok, so Bert Weedon didn't actually offer a play-in-a-day Mandolin course, but Sheol's pretty much sorted it out anyway. It's a very good instrument, made by local and sadly late luthier Phil Davidson.

We've all been off to Tortworth Court for a slap up Sunday carvery and one more celebration of Laurie's 90th birthday. Sheol and Cathy, Noel and Mary, Janet, myself and Laurie. 

Yes, ok, I confess when the chef asked if I wanted beef, gammon, turkey or salmon I said "yes". Janet and I have just completed our regular and today very necessary circumambulation of the village... before tea of course.
