Walled Garden.

After a bit of shopping this morning we had something of a garden-fest this afternoon. First it was Gargunnock estate and a stroll up the long drive with all its beautiful trees to the walled garden. Flowers in profusion and bees and other insects by the bucket load. And that smart little bench where we could just sit and listen to all the buzzing around us.
As we were leaving MaggieD remembered that there was another garden open not too far away. So off we trundled, down quite a narrow road to Coldoch, a rather swish estate with its own walled garden, kitchen garden, pond and surrounding policies.
Today's extra is a view across the walled garden to the back of the house.
Back home to a steak bake and roast potatoes - delicious!
