Happy Birthday Julia.

Today I collected my new (used) car. I was disappointed last week to read (after I had paid the deposit) that air con was not listed as being on the vehicle. Today was the hottest day of the year, so I was delighted to find that it does have air con. Apparently it’s too common place to list these days, despite the fact that cup holders and glove box are mentioned! Anyway, I drove home and could not believe what a smooth drive it was. My old broomstick was 12 years old and Mr L’s car is a 4x4, so not smooth at all, although I hadn’t realised it until I got this. And don’t get me started on the technology. I am a convert to apple play!

So, having played with my car, rearranged the garage to get it in, organised the courtyard and sitting room ready for the building work starting this week, Mr L walked the dog while I cooked a curry. The photo is from my walk on the beach with Dog yesterday.
