El Rocio

I have no words to explain what this Pilgrimage to El Rocio is.

I don't like this type of traditions. For me they are just topical or typical Spanish traditions.
Here is one of their carretas - carts-  ready to start this pilgrimage. They were parked on one of the most important streets in the centre of the city.
Just as a coincidence, the big building on the background is the oldest  High School in Granada. It was founded at the end of the 19th century and it was there where I started my career as a very young teacher, many years ago!
