Friday: Hemmed In

It's probably not surprising if I tell you that I was a little weary this morning. I headed into the office and found my colleagues, with whom I was out last night, to be equally weary. That made me feel infinitely better. And, yes, 'weary' is a euphemism.......but we all agreed that, as a team bonding exercise, it was a cracking night out.

I had a brief meeting to attend and then it was back to the airport for the flight back to Vancouver. This was taken from my hotel balcony this morning - I hope you're glad that it's not my usual 'ooh look, the Rockies, as seen from the airplane window" shot.

Finished 'The Line of Beauty' by Alan Hollinghurst on the flight. I emjoyed it but did find the main character a bit of a sycophantic twit. That aside (!), it was good. Thinking about it, I think that's maybe what I'm meant to think about him.....
