All good things come to an end...

We've had a wonderful time here in Riquewihr, but it's time to go home. As I'm writing my blip, I'm sat with the windows open looking out over the vineyards with the sun shining and casting lovely shadows.

This was our first Christmas without Dad, so it was nice to come away to somewhere that none of us have been before. But saying that, he certainly wasn't forgotten - he'll always be with us in our hearts and our thoughts.

I went for a final walk around the town with Louis before breakfast and this photo is taken looking through the old gateway into the town - it really is a beautiful place and we'll definitely back. It would be lovely to come in the summer to see it from a different perspective and to see the vineyards full of grapes.

Anyway, it's time to leave for our 6 hour drive home - fingers crossed it stays sunny for our journey, but I doubt it as there is rain forecast. Have a lovely day and see you when I'm back in Belgium!
