Sally Mair - Loving life

Moving on

After our night at the malt whisky society yesterday, I was pleased to wake with a clear head at about 8.30. I went out to get haggis, neeps and tatties for dinner and to pop into A's new vet to ask some questions for her. Back home the others were all just surfacing, today's plan was for Lisa and I to head off to trawl the charity shops of Stockbridge. We started at around 11.30 and apart immediately I realised I no longer had my debit card. I phoned the supermarket I'd been in this morning. What a relief, they had it safely. I transferred some money via online banking to another account and we set off again.
It rained ask the time we were out but we still found time to use some of the free handcream tester outside Aesop and to have some delicious soup in Bon Papillon. The picture I bought there will be my blip another day.
K, J and the girls came for tea so we were 8 of us for haggis, as usual I made too much of everything. Two other ex-university friends came round this evening and we put the world to rights over a few bottles of wine and some cheese.
When we got home this afternoon we realised our neighbours are moving. I wonder who will be moving in. I didn't remember about my debit card till after 9pm so had to shoot out then to pick it up.
16412 steps today, 2/2 a good start to the week and I submitted my May mileage to Race at Your Pace, 104 miles so made my 100miles ok.
