Love in the time of apples

I think the image speaks for itself... a pair of robber flies, well, pairing (or is that apple-ing?) on the apple tree.

Also found a lovely little two-spined spider - very colourful and equally blip worthy, plus a tug of war between a spider and an assassin bug over a fly and the usual butterflies, crickets and other assorted bugs. Hard to choose.
