The Pass

I left the Lake District in rather nice weather and it stayed that way all the way South and along the coast of North Wales. I'd kind of hoped it might be a shot from pyb looking at Snowdon but by the time I was into the National Park all hope for the view had gone.
Descending towards Llanberis the pass as ever felt moody and ethereal, a history of climbs looming just out of sight, and then at the cromlech boulders a moment, blip done.

I'm here for a meeting tomorrow but this evening it was great to spend time with good friends, lovely strangers and people I'm just polite enough to tolerate even if I'm looking forward to the days I won't need to see them again
