Memorabilia

He should be packing but Mr C found these so I thought on a wet day when all we are doing is trying to pack for a mix of cold/hot/wet/dry climate, they’d do for a blip.

His mum did not keep much related to his dad as they separated when he was 4, so I don’t know how these escaped the cull. They are maybe his cap badge and shoulder bits from his wartime army uniform. He was a sergeant in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, having come from Islay. He fought in North Africa and then Italy, being captured at Monte Cassino and then was a prisoner in eastern Germany till liberation by the Red Army.

I’m off to the gym as we have 3 flights tomorrow.

Very pertinent article in the Guardian by a Gordon Brown today. I have informed Mr Corbyn that I did what Alastair Campbell did, for the same reasons, along with thousands more, so offering myself up for expulsion.
