Yesterday was a low energy and low inspiration day ....

We had an early start this morning, up to the flat for the delivery of a new washing machine. Full marks to the men from John Lewis for heaving it up three flights of stairs, and then having to lift it into position in our very narrow kitchen.  And all without a word of complaint.

That left us free to go out - so we headed to Portobello, and glory be - the rain went off just as we got there. Walking along the prom always gets me wondering if we should move back up here full-time. Before I know where I am, I've got a dog, a tricycle (electric), and a flat with a sea view.  

Well, I can always dream ......
