Watching

Thank you so much for all your well wishes and supportive comment, very much appreciated. I can truly say this is one of the worst illnesses I've ever had. I'm still in bed though my poor eye is looking a bit better and the rash and spots are subsiding. My friend rang to find out how I was and she was a bit shocked: oh dear, Amanda, you sound very limp. I'm a bit shocked too because I do.
Enough feeling sorry for myself (it's incredibly boring too). I have to stagger into Skibbereen tomorrow to see an opthalmatrist. I'm not sure that's who I mean - an eye specialist.
This pic was taken on our way home from Kerry - Mollie Gallivans, where half the old house has been kept as it was. I love this room and we drunk builders' tea and ate Guinness cake. Sigh. The date has come up as today's and my head's too fuzzy to cope with changing it. Another grape needed.
