Gardener’s Joy

Well, if I was looking for a Bank Holiday Monday task, I didn’t have to go far. Geraniums — 20 of them to be planted out.
Last year I arranged them as a border display in a rockery, and I have to say I was well pleased with the result.
My dilemma this time is whether to go for the same or something similar or plant them in pots for the patio or in planters as a colourful welcome by the front door.
In the planters they are semi sheltered, and three from last year have survived the winter and look promising to burst forth into flower.
Aah well. Here we go!
