Rafting...

We did a two day tour to Hatupale; one of the highest points in Sri Lanka.On day one the children went rafting on the Kelani river. We wanted to see them pass so mrs. P. and I went for a hike a bit upstream and also visited the site where the movie "Bridge on the river Kwai" was taken. A friendly lady showed us around and her father in law posed for us; he played the role of Jungle Boy in the movie. After that we saw the raft coming towards the hanging bridge where we standing. Before the passing of the bridge there were four persons in the raft, after there were only three... Robin had been thrown out. No injuries.
After that we drove for six hours towards the guest house Srl Lak View, high in the mountains.
