More RANTINGS!

Sooooo................... today we were hoping to be able to tell you all that I'd managed to go a whole week without weeing in the house. No such luck.

This morning Karen came to meet me. Ann taught with Karen 35 years ago how did they get to be so old?! and Karen has never met me before. I was very excited to see her (especially as she brought me treats) so I had a teeny, weeny, little 'excitement wee' on the hall floor. Fortunately I missed Karen's feet. Ann wasn't happy. She said, 'Trixie, you've almost managed a whole week without weeing in inappropriate places and now we're right back to square one.' And as if to prove that I really have learnt absolutely nothing.............. as soon as Karen left, I just squatted down on the living room rug and had another wee. Surely I should be toilet trained by now?


5 mins after I'd wee'd on the living room rug I went for a walk in 'Braidburn Valley Park'. Obviously because I'd just had a wee, I didn't need to go when I was out?! ….........Oh and just in case anyone is interested..................... I don't have a problem with my poos. I know, I know, far too much information .................. I haven't poo-ed in the house for 2 months so if I know not to poo in the house, why do I not know not to wee in the house??


Anyway I had a fabulous time in the park. I was zooming around all over the place and I met a puppy lurcher called Rosie, who I had great fun chasing. My recall was pretty good too. That's the only good thing that's happened today!


Unfortunately the same can't be said for my sitting, lying, staying, waiting. I always have to do a little bit of training every time I'm off my lead. As far as my human is concerned; I'm going backwards with my training. I was loads better when I was only 3 months old!


And because this BLIP has the title, 'More Rantings'................... we'll continue our rants?!!!!!


Ann had a 'meet & greet' to do at 3pm but first thing this morning the M&G was changed to 4.30pm. That was fine 'cos it gave us most of the day to do what we had to do. However once Ann got to the M&G property she got a Whatsapp message why does no-one ever talk to anyone to say visitors weren't arriving till 5pm. And then she got another one saying that the GPS was saying 5.20pm. And then the guests actually showed up at 5.35pm. And then Ann had to show them how things worked and where to park the car, etc, etc, etc,. (To be honest, in more that 100 M&Gs, this is the first time that visitors have been so late and Ann does actually get paid for being at a property for 2 hours?!!) .........….All this meant that Ann didn't get home until after 6pm and once she'd walked me, in the rain, she said, 'Trixie, I think we'll give puppy training class a miss tonight. I'm hungry, you're hungry. Lets just have dinner and watch trashy TV'.


…..............And my human is trying to justify missing puppy class  the puppy training teacher always says, 'It's not what you do in class that's important, it's what you practise out with the class.' We practise loads every day. And I'm still rubbish at everything. Though Ann hasn't told me that because she always tries to be positive with me. Ann takes me to puppy class to socialise me but to be honest, I think she's over socialised me. I LOVE every human and every dog.


Anyway, getting fed up of RANTING now. BGTs is on TV instead of Corrie. That could make Ann RANT even more. …............But she won't. Lol!!!
