Deeping fen

After working in the garden this morning, I decided to make something of the Bank holiday and went out to the wetland nature reserve at Deeping fen.  There did not seem to be much activity as regards birdlife and I did not stay long as it was cool and blustery. Instead, I headed off to the amateur art exhibition in Spalding and cast my vote for the winner.  I hope this vote carries more weight than the vote I cast in the East Midlands EU election in which the Brexit party romped home. I have been listening with interest to the conflicting interpretations as to what it all means for the future.
