Without plastic

I was down in Liverpool, this morning, helping to deliver some training, and, as I was spending the night at the Minx's, I sat in the lounge at David Lloyd's to do some work, this afternoon, rather than driving back up to Kendal, which had the added benefit that I was well positioned to head straight down to the pool at 5pm!

After that, the Minx and I had to go shopping to get food for dinner. We weren't in any hurry - the miniMinx was at a friend's, revising - so we decided to take a trip out to Waitrose, which is a shop that's not so common in these parts. To be honest, it wasn't that exciting, but it was nice enough to mooch around somewhere new.

Having talked about it lots, we have, as a family, decided to cut right down on our plastic usage. That meant putting a few things we fancied back on the shelf. We're cutting back on our meat eating, too, so we inevitably ended up on the vegetable aisle, buying items that weren't in bags and punnets.
