A lovely start to half term with these lovelies, hanging out at the zoo. We took the opportunity to try the baby out in the sandpit ahead of summer holiday plans. This was necessary to check he’s not completely traumatised by it (we had a most memorable holiday with a traumatised Eve some years ago).... thankfully he likes the sandy stuff. As zoo members, we seem to have reached the point where the kids spend more time playing on the incredible play equipment than observing animals, but it really is great play equipment!

Gratefuls:

1. Happy news from a loved one;
2. The prospect of half term;
3. The gift of zoo membership which has given us many lovely days out during maternity leave.

Oh.... and a 4th big grateful is blip where I store so many thoughts and memories and mix with some very special people.
