today:

1. I found myself buying a mini tangle teaser hairbrush for a cat. A CAT;

2. Zeke fell into the bath in his pyjamas and it was terribly funny for me but genuinely mortifying for him;

3. Antony had an exciting day out walking and swimming which was slightly marred by an expensive flat tyre - this coupled with the prospect of very pricey badger repairs means we’re not particularly happy with the car;

4. Eve wept real tears about being on half term and I thought she’d lost her actual mind;

5. The children laughed maniacally while eating these ice creams because they are Daddy’s secret stash and apparently that made eating them on the sly HILARIOUS.
