Growing - and fast!

My tiny Puss moth larvae are 2nd instar now, and beginning to develop the markings of the mature larvae as you can see. At this stage they have 2 little 'horn like' projections at the head which will disappear in the later instars, the 'tails' are a defense mechanism, and will remain until they pupate.
