An X for No Publicity

Pandemonium today in the Kirk.  Not only was it cafe day but it was also being used for Polling Day – a first.  The weather was so cold it truly felt like the North Poll.  I noticed Nigel Barton’s name wasn’t on the list.  I’d have voted for Willie Rushton, he was the coiner of the phrase ‘The Weak are a Long Time in Politics’.    

We took along Graeme and Sybil to the cafe.  Sybil is mainly wheelchair bound and Graeme’s eyesight is compromised so it’s a good outing for them. 

Tim Vine should have been in Kirkwall today; never mind one liners there were three at one time this week.  Are folk being diverted from the Meadows?
