Dinosaur Snacks

To celebrate the end of our dinosaur topic, we invited the year 1/2 class to come and have a look around our dinosaur museum. We had paintings, clay 'ammonites', fact files, model dinosaurs, and casts of real dinosaur teeth, claw and eggs, borrowed from the Sedgwick Museum in Cambridge (Thank you, Liz) on display. The children were really excited and enjoyed sharing their work and knowledge with their peers. Nobody left empty handed as we even has dinosaur shaped biscuits to hand out as they left (and I definitely wouldn't have had one if I'd noticed those fingernails earlier!)
It's our class assembly tomorrow and, although we might not be as prepared as I would like (school photos this afternoon in the hall prevented us from practicing) I'm preparing to wow the audience with some post it notes and a roll of toilet paper!
