Kings Parade

I like Kings Parade, mainly because D and I had our wedding reception in the Great Hall at Kings College but also, my dad spent many years working here and I also had my first job as a Saturday girl in White’s Newsagents, right opposite Kings.
Today it was full of tourists, just as it always was then. My favourite day was always Christmas Eve, watching the BBC lorries roll up to broadcast the Festival of 9 Lessons and Carols. It always felt very special and exciting.
