Daisy Chain

Last week it was bluebells; this week daisies in abundance, along with buttercups, primroses, even dandelions all adding vibrant colour to our hedgerows and verses.
It’s been a good year so far for early blooms in our garden and in the fields and hedgerows all around.
We’ve been particularly struck by the extent of the daisies this past week or two. It’s many years since we enjoyed making daisy chains, but Remember them?
Walk just a few yards from our front door just now, and you could spend hours stringing them together.
