Christmas Eve and Pete's as sick as a dog!

Awoken at 1.30am with noises from downstairs. Curious as to what Pete was up to I wander down to the kitchen and discover he'd been poorly sick. Knew he wasn't himself the night before, he must've picked something up on our walk.

Was awake from 1-5am and when I got up at 7, Pete didn't move or bat an eyelid. He must've been whacked, and still feeling poorly. He perked up after about half an hour and I have him some plain rice which he scoffed.

After making sure he wouldn't need a vets trip, I went into work. Traffic was a little busier than expected.

Work was dead. No calls from customers at all, which was as we expected. Off to the Bell at lunch for a drink just a few of us.

The afternoon at work was quieter than the morning, and we finished at 4pm, with me still covering the phones after that via my mobile....but no calls.

Home via tesco to purchase a few non essential items....though it was interesting how many folks were still proper Christmas shopping at 5pm!

Made a special trip to take this pic on my way home. Every year the family at this house light up and raise money for charity. They even had Santa there and lots of excited children waiting to see him.

Home and a takeaway with mum and then me and Pete take a trip to li's to see bro, Mand and the crown prince, all newly arrived from the Isle of Man.

Excited about the holiday season! Merry Christmas to everyone! Santa is now well and truly on his way!
