Hail Caesar.....

A day spent sorting out cows and calves and then hauling 3 loads down the road to their summer grazing. Hopefully they will be a bit more civilised than the heifers I took down last week. A wee bit of progress with them today- they didn’t take off over the horizon when I put their feeding in the troughs. Mind you , they didn’t come in for a feed yet either. It’s going to be a long slow summer !
It got very fiery this afternoon. Then it turned to thunder and a very heavy downpour of hail stones. They were a fair size and stung a fair bit while pinging off your lugs ! Must be summer .
