Sunny Iona

Off to the sunny side of the island today. A long drive mostly on single track roads with American friends to visit the island of Iona. We didn’t manage to see or hear the elusive corncrakes but did enjoy a flotilla of eider ducks as well as plenty of oystercatchers, skylarks and lapwings.
