We took our guest on a local tour today. I needed bird feed for our hungry birds so we went to Gmünd to buy it then had lunch at the hotel attached to the day spa. We looked around the old town then had an ice cream sundae. It was not raining today but still a bit chilly, although 'it is never too cold for an ice cream'. We went back to our town to the local shoe factory where they still hand make their shoes. We both bought some lightweight walking shoes but Hubby didn't want any. We then visited the lookout platform in the forest near the 'underwater' park next to the lake. Next it was Otter feeding time at the park. This time there was only one otter as the other one died suddenly last year. They are raising a young orphaned otter which will be released into the wild along side the older one when it is bigger. We were also able to see the baby otter being fed (see extra). They are both soooo cute.
