Julie Goodwin!

Wow, what a day. CCN and I have just spent four wonderful hours with Australia’s first Masterchef winner, Julie Goodwin. We had booked in to do her Moroccan Cooking class. We first met Julie on the Murray River Cruise in 2014 and just loved her warm and entertaining personality. Oh, and of course her cooking skills :). Just before Julie opened “Julie’s Place” in June 2014, we headed up to Gosford and joined some of her friends and family so that Julie could sort out any teething problems before the big opening.

It’s just so inspiring to walk into the school (see extra). You feel like you’re a contestant on Masterchef, everything is SO organised. It’s a real hands on exercise and we teamed up with Sue and Jess on our bench. I tell you what, I’m going to head off to the supermarket and buy a few kilos of onions and work on my chopping skills having been given a few great tips from Julie! At the end of the cooking side of things we all sat down together and tucked into a sumptuous Moroccan Feast. All in all a fantastic experience. It was so lovely to reconnect with Julie again.
